Package returned to sender
Good evening,
I'm asking the experts for help.
On September 20 I sent a registered book parcel to Naples.
A few days later (I couldn't find a way to see on what date the feedback was left) I received positive feedback, along with the comment "Book in excellent condition" and for me the transaction was correctly completed (they also credited me with the proceeds).
A few days ago I noticed the shipped orders and saw that it says the shipment is delayed...
To make a long story short, the package remained uncollected until October 31 at the Naples post office, after which it was sent back to the sender and arrived today.
I wrote to the buyer and am waiting for a reply, but in the meantime I was trying to figure out: what do you do in cases like this?
Thanks everyone for any reply.

If I arrange a new shipment with the buyer, to avoid problems with eBay (like having to refund the amount received), is it enough for me to put the new shipping code in the listing? Or do I need to do something else?

Mentore1 year agoYou can't change the shipping number in the sale details; if you don't want to have problems with eBay or with that buyer, I recommend refunding them and relisting the item.
If they want it back, they can then buy it again, but since they didn't pick it up the first time... it could happen again...
Kind regards.

Mentore1 year agoIn these cases, if the buyer wants their book, they have to pay for a new shipment... or you can refund them while retaining the shipping costs you’ve already incurred.
Kind regards.
