Payment
I bought an exhaust for my car since it was coming from abroad and they made me pay shipping plus customs and everything was fine so far then the package arrives and basically I paid shipping again in cash, I contacted the seller and the seller tells me to contact eBay

you were probably not aware that in addition to customs duties, customs fees and carrier charges also have to be paid, which are impossible to quantify in advance because they depend on who will take charge of the delivery in Italy.
Only if the receipt left by the courier shows a double payment of VAT will you be able to ask eBay for a refund... otherwise you will not be able to obtain any refund because importation is always your responsibility.
