Summary: dome2428 bought a phone described as new and sealed, but found that the outer packaging seems to have already been opened and resealed. Good morning, before purchasing I asked the seller twice whether the phone was new and sealed, and I was told that it was. Yesterday I received the package and the outer packaging does not seem to have the manufacturer’s original seal: the film appears to have been cut and resealed with adhesive tape.
The phone seems to work properly, but I would like to understand whether this condition is compatible with an item described as “new and sealed” or whether it does not match the description.
I am also awaiting confirmation from Xiaomi regarding the warranty.

Mentore2 weeks agoIf it was described as new and sealed, I believe this is a non-conformity.
You can request a return at the seller’s expense; select in the process that the item received does not match the description.

If you want to wait for confirmation from Xiaomi, keep in mind that no community seller on eBay is authorized to sell new Xiaomi phones imported through official channels.
