Why do the prices of some items change?

I’d like to understand why the prices of certain items in the preview have one cost when opening the item the price is higher, but when sending a message to the seller the item is shown with the same price as the preview, shipping is free so there can’t be the shipping cost added.

This happens to me when searching for "epson eco tank"

printer at 152 euros that goes up to 185.44...

If you divide the two figures, you get 1.22. That is, the initial price plus VAT.

If you buy from sellers outside the EU, the final price depends on you (that is, on the VAT rate of the state you live in). eBay acts as a tax withholding agent, collecting the tax on behalf of the state.
