Why am I receiving purchase proposals from sellers? | Questions and answers among users

As the title says... the item isn’t among my watched items or in lists, yet I simply do a search, look at a few products, and the seller of that item I just looked at is able to send me a purchase proposal. Could someone kindly tell me what I need to change in my account/settings?I absolutely do not want sellers to be able to see my nickname/profile or to send me proposals/offers completely out of nowhere. Is it also possible to remove this feature even if the item is actually watched/in a list? Thanks
