Why does eBay automatically send my sales offers?

I noticed while sharing a link to a friend, to one of my sale listings, in the Buy It Now format, that eBay automatically sends purchase offers at a lower price. Why does this happen? So if by chance someone accepts the offer they received, am I forced to sell at a lower price...

Very strange what you’re writing too.

Never heard of ebay sending automatic proposals... and then to whom would it send them?

You can only send proposals manually yourself and only to those who watch or add your items to their cart.

So maybe it would be a good idea to explain better what you’re referring to.

I'll try to explain myself better.

I have quite a few items for sale with the Buy It Now option, under observation, even with more than 13/14 watchers, and if I go to view the listing, eBay doesn't give me any option to send an offer, only the "promote" option. This is very strange, because this happens when you use the send offer to your watchers feature. In my case, I haven't sent any offers, and I don't have any option to do so.

So I believe that offers are being sent automatically to my watchers, without me having done it.

I hope I was clear.

Hi... sorry, but it's still not clear...

Do you have tangible proof that ebay sends "offers" at its discretion?

Because that thing is both strange and definitely impossible... in fact, to send offers manually to users who are watching, you need to go here:

Manage active listings - Seller Console (ebay.it)

and check whether in the "Send offers - Eligible" tab you have the option to send them.

Sponsorship, on the other hand, is something else.

Thanks for taking the time to reply to me.

Could you do this to clear up my doubt...

Try watching one of my items for sale, and let’s see if after a certain amount of time, you receive a purchase offer from me.

By choice, I NEVER send any offers.

Let’s see if I’m right, or if I made it up.
