Why did eBay charge me €70 in selling fees for an item I didn't sell?
eBay charged me €70 in selling fees for an item I didn't sell and withdrew, will I get the money back? There's no way to contact customer service, eBay's handling of this is really absurd. Does anyone know how to give me some info on this? Thanks

Mentore2 years agoMore than absurd, the way ebay handles things; I’d call irresponsible anyone who uses a platform without even having a basic idea of how it works.
In a few days they’ll ask you for another 140 euros and you’ll be forced to pay them.
For each of the three listings you used the auction format with reserve price and buy it now. Aside from the considerations one could make about the value of the reserve price being very close to the starting bid and the buy it now, hadn’t you seen on the listing summary that the reserve price is a paid option? That it has to be paid regardless of whether you sell the item or not?
Before confirming, didn’t you notice that each of those 3 listings cost you 70 euros?
