Why does eBay still allow untracked shipping?
I sell books often and buyers choose or ask…to save on shipping they want ordinary postage instead of registered!!
Why doesn't eBay protect sellers who, after sending it by ordinary mail, attach via message on the site to the buyer the photo of the envelope’s postage being applied?
Either start protecting sellers more…or review the rules

Mentore2 years agoSellers who don’t want to take risks can already protect themselves today by avoiding offering untracked shipping.
Shipments without tracking are allowed and are used by many merchants who need to ship items of modest value; these merchants are well aware of the risk they are taking and take it into account.
Italian regulations place the risk of untracked shipments entirely in the sender’s hands, ebay can only comply with the law.
