Why can't you report a listing on eBay that looks very different from the photos??
If a seller posts a photo, then sells only half the stuff shown in the photo, isn't that unfair...?

Mentore3 years agoIf you believe that what they sent you does not match what was promised in the listing, make a return and refund request for an item not as described. https://www.ebay.it/help/buying/returns-refunds/restituisci-un-oggetto-cambio-di-un-rimborso?id=4041&st=7&po=2&uci=0&ri=0

OP3 years agoIt’s not a matter of return or not.
It’s a matter of, for example.
In the photo you’re selling a bicycle...
Title "selling complete bike, year 2003"
I waste time asking you whether it has pumped-up tires, the right saddle... etc..
The seller, professional with more than 1700 feedback, replies to me....
I’m selling the bike bare, just the frame...
Without saddle, handlebars, wheels, pedals.
Just the frame.
So I ask myself....?
Why not write and photograph what you’re selling, not what you had years ago.
Here time is wasted... or then you wait 1 month without money to be refunded.
I find it not very serious...
That’s why 90% of my purchases have moved elsewhere, where at least there is assistance.

Mentore3 years agoAs a seller, I’ll add that, as so often happens with food packaging, the photo is for reference and illustration purposes only... and many times this is written in the listing along with the full description, but nobody reads it... the description is there precisely to "describe" an item, in addition to having an "illustrative" image!
Unfortunately, management systems and sales methods do not allow you to photograph each and every item a seller has for sale, just as a dropshipper is literally unable to do it!
Kind regards.
