Absolutely possible... just use the filters...

But it offers me how many miles from home... United States or just one state (Italy...)

a little while ago it was a simple choice on the left side of every page: whole world, Europe.... now everything has disappeared while filters don't know Europe

If it doesn't show up right away, go to the bottom among the filters on the left and there is other filters. Press the button and on the page that opens you can choose Origin where you'll see: Italy, EU, Continental Europe (EU+Switzerland, UK,.....), Rest of the World.
