Terrible support for sellers

Hi, I just deleted all my listings and I’m never going back to selling on eBay.
I was selling digital files, for years..
Users buy without reading what’s being offered.
It’s happened MANY times that even though it’s written in the title, description, etc.. they buy and then ask for the product to be shipped.
A service that, as clearly specified, is not provided.
Cancelled orders, negative feedback, insults in messages.
All sales reported to support and, as always... the buyer comes out on top.
Even a few days ago, a buyer demanded shipping, called me a scammer.. for €4, negative feedback.
I ask for the feedback to be reviewed and report the user.
But obviously, once again, no response and the feedback stays.
No comment
Am I the only unlucky one?

Mentore7 months agoWith all due respect, if you sell items that are forbidden on eBay... the digital format... what fault is customer support at???

OP7 months agoI don't think they're prohibited; in fact, I've always sold them without any problems:
Items delivered in digital format must be listed for sale in ad format in the category Other > Informational products
I'm not complaining about the sales format, but about the support for reviewing negative feedback/user reports from people who demand things that were NOT offered.
As shown by the report button available:
"The buyer requested items or services not included in the original listingThe buyer requested items or services not included in the original listing"
"The buyer requested a shipping service I don't offer, or asked that the item be shipped to an address different from the one provided at checkoutThe buyer requested a shipping service I don't offer, or asked that the item be shipped to an address different from the one provided at checkout".

Mentore6 months agoSo it’s always worked out for you... as a private seller you probably never had the category Other > Informational products enabled!
