Good morning, piego di libri is basically used to ship editorial publications and inserts (for example music CDs as long as they’re included with the magazine), I understand it practically as those editorial products you mainly find in bookstores and newsstands, so I was wondering: stickers? Complete sticker albums? Calendars? Collectible trading cards? The post office says that with piego di libri you can send envelopes starting from mm. 90 x 140 x 0,5, so definitely also very light and small publications (such as a sticker or a collectible card, otherwise what could you possibly send in such a small envelope? Isn’t there an official exhaustive list that clearly states everything that is allowed for this type of shipment? Thanks.

OP3 years agoThanks for the replies but that’s not what I asked, obviously book mail is also trackable if sent with the registered option and therefore protected by eBay rules. The issue is what is meant by editorial products, I clearly indicated the ones I have doubts about: Stickers? Complete sticker albums? Calendars? Collectible playing cards?

Mentore3 years agoThere is no “clear” answer to your request, since as already said, even Poste Italiane doesn’t define it... just do a quick search on the internet to understand what is meant by “editorial product”:

OP3 years agoYou're right, it's hard to define it without a complete list of the items or the type of items. All that's left is to try in the hope that the product will still be accepted, for certain items a standard package is really expensive for the customer and causes sales to be lost.

but in any case I think it comes down to logic... it’s obvious that “valuables” can’t be shipped, since it’s a shipment that’s completely left to its own devices... which is why I’d think very carefully before using this type, since on eBay there’s no guarantee for anyone using untracked methods.

Mentore3 years agoThe description seems very clear to me. Everything else is shipped at your own risk, in case of checks.
Also remember that with this type of shipment (ordinary book parcel), in the event of real or presumed losses, you will have to reimburse.
