Bestway pool 412x201x122
good morning everyone, has any of you recently bought a bastway 412x201x122 pool? unfortunately we did, and I say unfortunately because after getting everyone to give us the overall ground footprint dimensions, etc., we discovered that the pool is not at all as large as the stated measurements both in the description and on the original Basway box, but is only 380x188, so 32 cm less in length and 13 cm less in width. Has this happened to any of you too? And at this point, what should I do? The retailer no longer პასუხs me. Should I contact Bastway? Thanks to anyone who can help me

OP3 years agohi, about the actual measurements of the pool, I looked a thousand times on several sellers and also from the sellers near me and on the Bestway site, because if we’re talking about overall footprint with the width of the feet they even gave me 462x254, but where? we had resigned ourselves to the fact that there would be the two loungers and we’d end up with our feet close to the pool, but obviously it’s much less

Mentore3 years agoFrom the attached photo, the installation does not seem to have been carried out correctly.
In the corners there should be more space; from the photo it looks like the cover is folded and not stretched out properly.

I think the measurements are the overall dimensions, not of the water surface.
Where are you getting the measurements from?
From the pedestals below, or from the pool edge?

OP3 years agohaving clarified the problem, if that's what we want to call it, I went to a dealer near me and told them that I bought it from them and explained the story of the measurements; I should say that it's the first time I've found someone knowledgeable. On the box there are 3 measurements: the one it’s sold for, which we all notice most, in my case 412x201x122, shown prominently at the top; under the feet of the box there are all 3 measurements, which are the one we see at the top BUT WHICH IS A TRICK BECAUSE IT'S THE MEASUREMENT OF THE POOL'S BULGE WHEN IT'S FULL, the measurement from iron to iron whether full or empty, and the measurement of the total ground footprint, so one thinks they’re buying a pool more than 2 meters wide and 412 long but that’s not true
