It was probably a postal shipment and the failed delivery caused it to be held in storage. If you didn’t pick it up within the expected time, it’s being sent back to the sender.

Check the tracking immediately and see what the situation is.

If it goes back to the sender, you won’t be entitled to a refund and you’ll have to pay for a second shipment.
