Possible scam
Good evening everyone,
In June 2024 I bought a watch here on eBay, now I'm trying to resell it and they're telling me it's fake. I don't know if they're doing it to get me to lower the price. But if it is really fake, does eBay provide coverage or do I have to report it and therefore get nothing back?

Mentore1 year agoEbay gives you 30 days to do all the checks you want, then marks the transaction as completed.
If you paid by credit card and if you can prove that it’s a fake (you’d need a certificate from an authorized dealer of the brand), you can try contacting your bank for a chargeback.

OP1 year agoI paid with PayPal, but to me it’s true, it’s just the people on Subito who keep telling me it’s fake. I hope it’s just a way to make me lower the price, because I don’t want any hassle and above all I also took it to a watchmaker to shorten the strap and he didn’t tell me it was fake.
And I don’t want to rip anyone off.
