Can I ask for a partial refund?
Good evening, I purchased a console that, by design, has a hard drive, but when it arrived it was not included and it was not mentioned in the listing; in my opinion the seller was not honest. Now I have decided to keep the item anyway because it would take time and effort to send it back and wait for a refund. My question is: can I request a partial refund through eBay? Or if I keep the item, am I not entitled to that?
Thank you

Mentore1 year agoIn the listing, no hard disk is mentioned, but a 32GB pen drive... you could have figured out on your own that the hard disk wasn't included... or you could have asked before buying.
So this is your oversight, you can't define the item as non-compliant.
In my opinion you are not entitled to any refund and since the buyer does not accept returns, you'll have to keep it.
Kind regards.

OP1 year agoSorry, but how do you know that the seller doesn't accept returns? I didn't post the listing in the community request

Mentore1 year agoSure... and also the negative feedback you left... what a coincidence, for an Xbox 360 where you complain about the missing hard drive... did you leave it as a guest??

OP1 year agoAh, I see, no, the reason for the pendrive should have been specified; moreover, in one message I asked what it was for, and I wasn't told it was needed because there was no hard disk. The step was short, but it seems dishonesty has very long legs...
