Suspected customer scam
Good morning, I’ve been selling and buying through this portal for many years, but this is the first time a customer, moreover in an all-Italian transaction, has sent me photos of the contents missing from the package and packaging that is completely different from what I shipped, and even the box does not match the dimensions; only the shipping label is the same, or almost the same.
How should I handle this?
There are his photos, against mine, which fortunately I always take, especially for intercontinental shipments; there is a photo showing the length of the box, original from a well-known tie brand, since we are talking about a tie for 200,00€, paid without batting an eye, totally different from what the customer reported.
Can you help me understand?

Mentore2 years agoIf a return request for non-compliant item opens, your photos won’t help at all. You might only save yourself if the two packages are so dissimilar that the weight and dimensions shown on the label are different.
If there is no other evidence, ebay will decide in favor of the buyer and you will be forced to refund.

OP2 years agoI reported everything to eBay, but they still haven’t made a decision, and there has still been no dispute from either me or the buyer, just messages, lots of them, through eBay.
