price of Fuji X100 VI shipped from China

Hello! I have a question: how is it possible that there are sellers from China on eBay selling the Fujifilm X100 VI, new, for between 750 and 950 euros and very often even with free shipping? I'm not gullible, but I'd like to know where the catch is.
The only thing I've noticed is that they are almost (or maybe not almost at all) all sellers with zero feedback: is that the key to the mystery?

Mentore1 year agoConsider that you will have to pay another 250-300 euros in customs duties, VAT and courier fees, and that the warranty will not be recognized by the brand's official EU network.

OP1 year agoOk, let’s say we take into account the additional costs you mention, we get to 1250 - 1350 euros for a new camera that is currently sold, also new, for 2000 - 2500.
The worry is that after the purchase other problems might arise, and it should be noted that these sellers all have sales feedback of zero.
Ok, there are refund procedures, but in the meantime quite a few euros have been tied up.

Mentore1 year agoYou can easily find it around 1800 euros which, in my opinion, is still crazy for a fixed-lens camera.

OP1 year agoJust yesterday, online auction on eBay, sold for almost 1900 euros used; I couldn't find a new one at those prices.
Regarding the camera, you're right, it's a fixed lens but with 40 mpx you can crop without problems, naturally within certain limits, but in practice you have a zoom with excellent overall portability and the Fuji quality that I know very well.
