Ambiguous shipping price
Good morning,
I bought two items from the same seller, for which shipping of €6.00 each was expected.
paid with PayPal with €12.00 in shipping fees.
it arrives a week late compared to the expected date, with a registered book-rate type shipment at the price printed on the label of €4.63..
How should I handle this?

Mentore3 years agoThere’s no direct correlation between the agreed shipping price and what the seller actually paid. Also consider that he’ll pay fees on that amount too, so he has no interest in inflating the shipping price. 6 euros is reasonable, considering the price of the padded envelope and the time spent going to the post office.
Rather, I think it’s unfair that if you make two separate purchases, with two separate orders and pay two shipping fees, everything then arrives in a single package.
A fair seller would have combined the two shipments (with a discount) or would have sent two separate parcels.
If you’re really annoyed and if your summary shows two separate orders, open two separate item-not-received claims. On one, the seller will manage to respond (with the tracking code for the registered book parcel) and on the other he’ll be forced to compromise.
I strongly recommend you be as honest as possible and close the dispute as soon as the seller has refunded the extra amount paid for the second shipment (6 euros).
