I sold an item, packed it, shipped it with Poste, and the item arrived as confirmed by the courier’s tracking. Right away the buyer wrote a message saying the item had not arrived and wanted a refund. He opened a dispute and eBay sided with him. I tried contacting support to explain that there was absolutely no proof that the item hadn’t arrived, but on the contrary there is proof that it was regularly delivered; even the courier, after my complaint, confirmed that it had been regularly delivered to the address entered. Nothing, eBay, like a brick wall, sided with the buyer, who in the meantime never replied to any of my emails.
I don’t intend to lose both the item and the money, how can I let eBay know how absurd the situation is?
Thank you to anyone who can help me.

Mentore1 year agoDid you respond to the dispute with all the information you had?
Did you provide the POD as a response?
It seems that you relied solely on the result of a tracking... but unfortunately that is not enough.
Have you tried to appeal their decision?
Kind regards.

OP1 year agoI provided all the information and, clearly, I appealed, but it didn’t help. Shouldn’t it be the buyer who has to prove that the package was not delivered to them, even though the courier confirms delivery?
