Hello everyone. I have a problem with a payment release by ebay, as a user bought two identical items in two separate orders, and I shipped both with a single shipment
with the ebay shipping service. The problem is that on ebay, it now shows that one shipment has been delivered (the one for which I received the fund release and the payment), while the other still only shows as shipped (I marked it as "shipped" using the appropriate button).
What should I do? Does the buyer have the ability to mark it as "delivered"? In any case, I have confirmation and evidence through ebay messaging, that the customer received the two items.
Thanks for your attention.

Mentore1 year agoHas the buyer opened a report for an item not delivered?
If there are no claims, the release of payment does not depend on delivery.

Anyway, you made a mistake. If you hadn't combined the two transactions into one, you should have made two separate shipments.
Now, if the buyer wanted to, you would be forced to refund the purchase that does not show as delivered.

OP1 year agoHi Mario.
The funds have been unlocked, fortunately. Probably also because I associated the shipping code, which is the same for the two orders anyway, since the two items were shipped with the same shipment. Regarding the two shipments you suggested, it's true, but it would have been a waste of money. On the other hand, I don't understand why the buyer opted for two separate orders instead of just one order of two pieces. Anyway, thanks for the reply and for the very useful link you posted.
Bye... 🙂

OP1 year agoSorry, just one last thing: how could I have combined the two orders into a single shipment? Would that have been possible? The buyer placed two orders for the same item, as I mentioned above, even though he could have made just one, opting for two pieces.

However, keep in mind that if the buyer pays you for two shipments by placing two separate orders, they can expect two separate shipments.
If they don't receive them, they can file two disputes for item not received; with just one tracking code, you can only respond to one of the two, and you'd be forced to refund the second item.
