Issue with a shipment for a customer

Good morning, I sold an item and bought a DHL shipping label specifying the day they were supposed to come by, but they kindly decided to ignore me and come on another day. I wasn't there that day, so I missed the shipment. How can I get another one without having to pay again? Since one of their shipments costs at least €15, I've already lost out once.
