Issues with untracked shipping
Hello everyone, I put an item up for sale some time ago with two shipping options: trackable and non-trackable (poste 4 extrastandard). The buyer purchased the item choosing the non-trackable option. He contacted me once saying that the package still hadn't arrived, I replied to him, but I didn't receive any other messages from him. On January 2, without warning, he opened a request, I contacted him and again he didn't reply, and today he asked eBay to intervene, which practically immediately issued a refund from me, because I don't have the shipping code, only the photo of the label that was put on the package by Poste Italiane. I don't understand why I have to bear the full loss given that the choice of shipping type was made by the customer, since in this way I have neither the payment nor will I get my package back. I'm not saying that the buyer shouldn't get his money back, but I don't understand why I should pay if he made this choice. Is there no way to do anything about it?

Mentore3 years agoThe answer is simple, the untracked shipping was offered by you... and you are responsible for it!
If you want to avoid similar incidents, avoid offering that type of shipping.
Kind regards.
