Return procedure for non-conforming item
Good evening, I bought a Samsung smartphone from a professional seller who has been operating on Ebay since 2004 with 96% positive feedback. Despite reassuring me (as stated in the listing) over the phone that the product was for the Italian market (he contacted me to let me know the chosen color was unavailable and предложing a different color), I received a product intended for the Arabic market. The sealed package has Arabic characters and the product's IMEI, after verification with Samsung support, is intended for the Saudi Arabian market, therefore without Italian or European warranty, different internal components, and Samsung Pay not working. I immediately contacted the seller, who claims that the product is Italian. I immediately opened a return procedure, to which he has not yet responded. What steps should I take to protect myself properly? I paid with PayPal and I have photographic documentation of the package received and its contents. Thanks

if you have opened the correct return procedure on eBay and if within 4 days of opening it the seller does not respond, ask eBay to step in:
