Fake parapharmaceutical product. Forced to turn to the authorities.

FALSO over-the-counter product, without packaging or regular EU labels. Seized and taken by the Guardia di Finanza for sending to the Biology laboratory of the ASL, and the Judicial Authority informed ex officio. Before turning to the Authorities, days earlier, I asked the seller “how do we resolve this?” and he replied that “Ebay prohibits extortion” (!!). I turned to Ebay, which identifies this person as a “Professional Seller,” who stated in writing (filed with the CNR) that I should have returned the product, thus inducing me into the criminal offense of complicity (110 CP) in articles 373 and 374 CP, because the product is even missing all the information required by law, made in the EU (i.e. harmful to Public Health) and to be sent back outside national territory. NO REFUND. PRODUCT UNDER SEIZURE BY THE PROCEEDING Judicial Authority. With more than 600 feedback over more than a decade at 100%, I have never seen or heard anything like this.

Mentore7 months agoGiven that the sale of the product is limited to specific and authorized online pharmacies (Google’s wording), the reason for buying from a Polish reseller escapes me, when it’s possible to buy it in Italy, with surely greater guarantees.
If the product was compliant for the reseller, you simply should have sent it back to him at his expense and then gotten a refund; he would have had to deal with the local tax police himself (to whom you could have calmly made a report/complaint).
If you paid via PayPal, you can try to request a refund by attaching the report of the seizure of the item in question; it’s not certain it will work, but you can try.
With more than 600 feedbacks over more than a decade at 100%, I’ve never seen or heard of anything like this.
In my opinion, when buying certain products it’s essential to do it safely and know eBay’s rules perfectly.

I would have asked myself two questions before buying.
