Non-cancellable purchase offer
Hello, although I’ve been a user for over twenty years, only recently did I realize that, unlike before, if I make a purchase offer I can no longer withdraw it, maybe to change the amount or to clarify something better or even because I want to take a little more time, the only possibility left would be to contact the seller, hoping they haven’t accepted it in the meantime, and ask whether they agree to cancel it. Since I really can’t understand what the logic of this change is, especially since the offers are limited by default, and finding this inexplicable and oppressive, I ask the community if you can give me some insight into this choice, it won’t change much but at least understanding the reason for this "constraint" will help me accept this Damocles’ sword with less disappointment. Thanks to those who will "enlighten" me on the why and the wherefore 🤗

OP2 years agotell you that, at least on the smartphone, it doesn't work and the eBay customer
support I contacted told me that it isn't possible to modify
the offer, even if it hasn't been accepted like in my case !!!!
As soon as I get the chance I'll try from the desktop on PC, even though to be honest
I had already tried, with a negative result, going to the desktop eBay version from
the phone.....
