Excessive and poorly signposted purchase protection on listings
Will it ever be productive to put the purchase protection price directly on the landing page where you search for items to buy?
Great idea for discouraging purchases even more, congrats, that wasn't easy.
Aside from the fact that it has a completely disproportionate price compared to the total sale amount, it also visually makes the item price go up; wouldn't it have been better to hide the purchase protection price until checkout like all platforms do?
With this move, a site already in a steep decline could definitely crash into the bottom; who knows, maybe once it hits rock bottom it can start climbing back up?
