Seller Protection
But is there a "Seller Protection"?
Lately it happens more and more often that, after selling an item, the buyer asks for a return claiming undisclosed defects, incorrect descriptions, or any other excuse, despite the fact that, at least in my case, nothing stated in the claim is true.
Even so, Ebay blocks the funds and orders the seller to agree, regardless, to the buyer’s requests without even checking who told the truth and who didn’t.
So I ask myself: what protection do those honest sellers have when faced with "shrewd" buyers? NONE.
A piece of advice: when you sell an item, "mark" it however and wherever only you can know, and then take a good bunch of photos. It will be useful in any possible court dispute.
As for me, I’ll try a little longer to keep trusting this platform, but if things continue like this with Ebay’s own approval I’ll turn to other places that will certainly have much less of an audience but proven seriousness.

Mentore3 years agoIn distance sales, these things are impossible to avoid. On any other platform, whether it uses PayPal or credit cards, you'd have the exact same problem. To avoid them, you'd have to switch to in-person exchanges with cash payment.
