Password associated with the name automatically given to me by eBay
I signed up on eBay using one of my Google addresses.
eBay assigned me a name, say zy, but it never suggested associating a password with it, and I don't know how to enter one now.
I would like, once eBay has verified my identity (which it has already done), to log in next time to the site only with the zy account and the password associated with zy, without having to log in again with the details of my Google address.

Mentore2 years agoIf you bought as a guest and therefore without a registered account, ebay gives you only one nickname, you will never be able to access ebay with that nickname, because it is not a registered account.
So you need to register and choose a personal nickname or one of the ones suggested by ebay and then also choose a password, ebay will never ever be able to choose it for you!
Obviously the nickname associated with your purchase as an unregistered user will no longer be usable.
