When I buy on eBay, I have always checked the shipping area
I bought a cell phone; before putting it in the cart I took a look at the charges and, besides shipping and currency exchange, no other fees were mentioned. Now mine, like others already mentioned in the comments, has been held at customs. In short, is it right to pay 400e for a cell phone and now have to pay another 100 in customs while other platforms specify these fees?

Mentore1 year agoIf you bought from a seller outside the EU, it is YOU who needs to know that there will be additional charges upon delivery, especially if the value exceeds €150.
No one is required to specify this, because the seller cannot know or imagine where they will sell the item.
Also remember that a phone purchased outside the European Union has no warranty.
Let’s just say you didn’t make a good deal... also because if you think about refusing the package, you won’t even be entitled to a refund!
Kind regards.
