When can a seller cancel an order?
Good morning,
Yesterday a seller canceled an order after I had already made the payment.
I should mention that about two hours earlier I had pointed out to the seller a very strange price. Since I hadn’t received a response, I confirmed and paid for my order.
After a few hours he calls me saying that the price was wrong and asking me to cancel the order. I tell him I’ll think about it, and we end the phone call. A moment later I see that he has canceled the order.
Did he have the right to do that? I understand that the posted price rule applies online too.
Can anyone give me information?
Thanks everyone

Mentore3 years agoGood morning,
if eBay allowed it, it’s legal to do it... since only the seller can cancel the order... not the buyer.
Kind regards.
