Registered mail from abroad marked as "delivered" but not signed for or received
Good morning to the whole community,
I should say that I haven’t been on eBay for very long, but I make regular purchases every month worth several hundred euros, from both Italian sellers and non-Italian ones, and I’ve never had a single problem.
Now, however, I notice a big problem. I bought an item from Japan for $77. It was shipped by REGISTERED MAIL FOR ABROAD, and I now see that on September 18 it shows as delivered with this wording: Delivered at the designated location.
The previous updates say: Being processed at the postal operations center.
I’m very surprised, first because someone was home that day and no courier ever rang the bell, and second, NO ONE signed for the registered mail!
This afternoon I’ll call eBay to describe the problem to them. I imagine the process is long, especially to request the documentation from the post office, but in the end will I ever get a refund?
Thanks in advance to anyone who replies

Mentore3 years agoAsk the seller for a copy of their shipping receipt and check the tracking code and shipping address.
If the post office confirms that a package marked with that code was delivered to your address, it will be almost impossible to get a refund.
If, on the other hand, the code or address is wrong, ebay may be able to help you: https://www.ebay.it/help/buying/returns-items-not-received-refunds-buyers/ottieni-aiuto-per-un-oggetto-che-non-arrivato?id=4042&st=7&po=1&uci=0&ri=0
