Refund for a non-working item
Summary: The discussion concerns returning a non-working item. trialmax789 starts the conversation, and marioelegio replies briefly. The discussion is concise and does not provide specific details about the actions taken for the return.
Good evening everyone.
About 14 days ago, I bought a torque wrench for low tightening torques (3/25Nm); I tried it yesterday when working on my bike, but it DOES NOT click, making it impossible to measure the tightening torque applied. So I opened a return, but the seller (of course) claims that their wrenches work when they leave the company(?!). I would also like to know whether I have to cover the shipping costs for the return, since it is a non-functioning item. Thanks to anyone who wants to reply, Max

Mentore1 year agoIf you believe the item is defective, ask for a return for a non-conforming product.

The return costs will be covered by the seller, who will have 3 business days to accept the return and send you a prepaid label.
If the seller does not want to cooperate, ask eBay to step in… https://www.ebay.it/help/buying/returns-items-not-received-refunds-buyers/chiedi-ebay-di-intervenire-acquirenti?id=4701

OP1 year agoThanks Mario, you were kind to reply to me. In the end the seller sent me the refund, without wanting the torque wrench back(!). Oh well… at this point I give up trying to get into other people's heads. Have a good day and w.e., Max 🙂👋
