Hello, I was sent an item that unfortunately appears to have been lost, so I want to return it and get the item sent back to me. I was scammed like this and want to understand how to proceed

maybe it's a good idea to use punctuation... because written like this it makes no sense at all!
You were sent an item... which turns out to be lost... so how are you supposed to make the return??
But you also write that the return has already been made... so?
Was the item lost or not??
