Resolution
Good morning, I bought an item that arrived broken. I received the return label with the date by which I have to ship it. I keep getting bounced around between the seller, who tells me I have to contact the courier myself for pickup, and the courier and eBay, who instead tell me that since the seller bought the label, he is the only one who can arrange everything. The seller says that “it doesn’t work like a radio taxi.” I don’t know what to do

OP2 years agoThat is, no courier has come by my place to pick it up, and if one did come by and didn’t find me, I don’t know anyway because no one notified me, neither by phone nor by email nor in any way at all. The package is large and requires someone to pick it up, if he doesn’t give me the details to book it and the courier doesn’t tell me when he comes by, how am I supposed to make this return?

Mentore2 years agoSo the seller may very well have booked the pickup without finding you!
Please contact him and ask for another pickup; he can do that, otherwise you'll have to take it to the office yourself, you have no other options.
Kind regards.

OP2 years agothe problem is that I tried calling the courier and he tells me that some data is missing that only he can provide, like the subscription number. Also, the seller claims that when the label is sent, it is assumed that the courier pickup will take place the next day and that it generally isn't really possible to arrange the pickup

Mentore2 years agoGood morning,
if the seller has provided you with a label, the courier’s name is shown on it.
For convenience, you have two options: take it to the courier’s office or, if possible depending on the type of courier, arrange a pickup yourself.
So in theory what the seller says is not wrong... even if he could easily book the pickup directly himself.
Kind regards.
