RESO became impossible because of a flaw in the procedure
Summary: emanueltandurell0 ran into a problem with the return process on eBay. After entering the item details, the process inexplicably got stuck when it came time to buy a shipping label. Despite trying to fix the problem, he wasn’t able to move forward and bought a label from SDA Poste Italiane instead. However, the courier didn’t show up as expected, and the pickup only happened two days later. Now, emanueltandurell0 is asking eBay to start the refund process.
The RETURN procedure got stuck at the point when, after entering the item details (weight, height, length, width), I clicked on purchase the Ticket, but for no apparent reason the procedure froze and I couldn’t go ahead with the Ticket purchase.
I then tried to start over from the beginning, but the procedure told me that the parcel had been delivered and that after about 3 days the refund procedure would start. Evidently the error was not known to the procedure, so I couldn’t resume the request through eBay.
I tried everything to understand what had happened and how to report this issue, but without any success.
So I decided to go ahead on my own by buying a ticket from SDA Poste Italiane. Pickup was scheduled for the 7th, but strangely the courier didn’t show up to collect it. I reported the issue and the office staff told me the courier would come back in the following days.
This only happened today 09/07/2026.
At this point I have to ask eBay to understand the situation I’m in and to start the refund procedure as предусмотрено.
