Refund not received
Summary: The discussion concerns the non-arrival of a resource. mattimui0 and cizeta1964 exchange messages about this problem, trying to find a solution or clarification on the situation.
I bought a bracelet. It broke after 2 days and I returned it. The return was accepted, I sent the bracelet by mail inside an envelope because it was very thin. Now the seller says nothing is arriving. He said that if it doesn't arrive to him, he won't give me a refund. The problem is that I paid a good €85 for that very thin bracelet, so now how can I get my money back?? Who tells me he's not pretending that nothing arrived? I'm thinking maybe the mail carrier made a mistake and put it in someone else's mailbox. What do I do now?. And above all, how the hell do you contact eBay? Every time there are questions to select and in no way have I managed to contact them, like via email or phone number

Mentore1 year agoDid you make an untrackable return shipment?

OP1 year agoYes, I made a simple letter with a stamp, address, and I put it in the red post box. Inside I put the label they gave me and the bracelet

Mentore1 year agoYou made a big mistake, if you can't prove that you shipped, you're at the mercy of the seller, who can easily refuse to refund you.

OP1 year agoGeez, but that's not fair though. If the mailman in his area made a mistake putting it in the mailbox, I'm the one who pays the price. Why, many other times I've sent letters that way to my brother, for example, and they've always arrived. So if it did arrive for sure, it arrived. But I'm thinking that maybe the mailman in his area put it in someone else's mailbox somewhere else

Mentore1 year agoThe return for a non-compliant item, as in your case, is the seller's responsibility and must be trackable; you should have involved eBay, which would have had you pay the return shipping upfront, and in this way you would have been reimbursed.
