Return an item
Good morning, I’m unsure whether to buy a mobile phone, as the seller, a private individual whom I contacted, does not accept returns in the event of defects, stating that he is selling it with the purchase invoice and the remaining warranty of 22 months. However, the item is shown as having the eBay warranty. Therefore, in the event of defects, can I return it and be refunded? Who is right?

Mentore2 years agoYou... if the sold item turns out to be not as described, the seller is required to handle the return request within 30 days of delivery.
Whatever he says or writes is completely irrelevant.
If instead you're referring to a change of mind, that can be refused.
Also remember that the legal warranty is not transferred; it is a contract made between him and the seller, so in plain English, you will be buying a phone with no warranty at all, because a private individual cannot provide any type of warranty.
