Refund
Summary: The discussion, titled "Return," does not contain any descriptive textual content from the participants.
I have to refund the customer for a return. But a problem has come up: the customer didn’t use my label, but sent the item back. I received it, everything is fine, but I can’t close the case with the refund because for Ebay the item has not been returned. What can I do? I can’t tell Ebay that I’ve received the item back, and the customer can’t say that he shipped it with his own label (not mine). It’s ridiculous — I have to refund someone for a mistaken purchase they made and I can’t do it?!

Mentore6 months agoOf course you can do it. You could have refunded them even without having the item sent back to you, so it's possible to do it even if they used a different method than the one you had in mind.
