Return of non-conforming goods
Hello, I sold an item that the buyer wanted to return for nonconformity.
Since I didn’t agree, a dispute was opened that, unfortunately, saw eBay refund the buyer.
I wanted to ask: how should/can I now get the item back?

Mentore2 years agoIt’s definitely much harder now. Since ebay had to step in and force the refund, it won’t help you get your item back. You’ll have to do everything yourself.
Tell the buyer that, since they received the refund, the item has reverted to your property. Write to them that they can send it back to you at your expense and send them a prepaid label so they can do it.
If they refuse to return it, with those written communications, you’ll be able to report them for misappropriation.
