Refund of payment for goods returned to the seller

Does anyone know if, after returning the purchased item, the seller refunds the amount to a card that is blocked and then the payment method is changed to a new card?

The refund is always issued exclusively to the original card. all card issuers have procedures for transferring the money from the expired card to the new one, ask them. bye mario
