Returns and refunds
hi everyone, I have a question to ask you. the first one.. when there is a return... why does eBay demand, as recently happened to me.. a forced refund also of the shipping costs.. which in themselves fall outside the commercial value of the product in the transaction... so??

Mentore2 years agoGranted that you are not a professional seller, even though you should be.
It’s not ebay that requires it, but in Italy there are laws and, if you want to sell, you have to comply.
So:
- if you accept a return because the buyer changed their mind, you have to refund the item and the shipping costs.
- if you are forced to accept a return because your item was not as described, you have to refund the item and the shipping costs as well as pay the return shipping too.
