Hello, I purchased Japanese-pressing vinyl records in two orders, at the beginning of February 2025 and at the end of February 2025. Unfortunately, only recently (when making a third order that has already been returned and thanks to negative feedback from other users) did I discover that many of these records had a non-original OBI strip (it is a replica, but this was not indicated in the item descriptions). The seller is offering to refund me only after receiving the goods, but this solution does not protect me because everything would not be tracked by Ebay. Ebay support suggested that I contact the payment institution, which replied that it cannot get into the merits of the item quality and that I should contact Ebay. How can I resolve this? We are talking about goods worth around 700 euros!

Mentore1 year agoeBay was right, the bank should have assisted you with a chargeback. This option is expressly provided for even in the event of non-compliance with what was received.
