Returned item never delivered
Summary: formadifrant sold a valuable watch that was returned because it was considered authentic but had issues. UPS reports that the package was delivered and signed for, but the author says they never received it. After having trouble contacting eBay, they filed a claim and plan to contact UPS support to resolve the situation. They’re asking for advice on how to proceed.
Good evening, I sold a valuable watch, it didn't pass the expert's inspection, who described it as: authentic but with issues with the bezel.
Today I received the message that it had been returned, but nothing has arrived for me (I should mention that I work from home and today I received 2 other deliveries)
UPS says it was delivered and signed for...false.
I tried to contact eBay, impossible, biblical waiting times. I filed a claim in the meantime.
Tomorrow I'll try to get in touch with UPS support.
How should I go about this, in your opinion?
Thanks in advance

Mentore2 weeks agoIf UPS certifies that a package with that code was delivered to your address, you can only take it up with the courier. There should be a procedure (internal to the courier) for disputing the signature, and I think you also need to file a report with the Carabinieri for the false declaration.
