Temporary return of non-working item
Summary: riccala1 starts a discussion about temporarily returning a non-functional item. sika700 responds, but both entries lack further details or context.
Hi everyone, I sent back an item I had just bought because it was sold to me as 100% serviced and with a working guarantee, but unfortunately when it arrived it didn't work 100% ...
The seller is covering shipping to him, the repair, and shipping back to me, but all of this is going through messaging, because eBay doesn't give me any way to do this: either I cancel the purchase and return it, or I keep everything as it is. Does anyone know if there is a procedure to stop the payment until the item is returned to me working 100%? Or an email contact at eBay where I can report that the seller and I have reached this agreement, and therefore keep the payment on hold until the working item has been delivered back to me? I spent over €600 .... I don't want to take the risk.
Thanks to anyone who can help me, bye
Riccardo

Mentore5 months agoNo, the procedures that ebay provides are returns.
You have to judge for yourself what is best for you.
Kind regards.
