Hi, I bought a product that does not match the description (it’s a car part that turns out to be a completely different size, even though it has the same code as the original). The item costs about €40 and the seller is asking me to send it at my expense to a sorting center in Germany (specifically to the Winit Germany warehouse in Bremen). No courier I’ve checked charges less than €20, the only solution I found would be to use Poste’s “postapriority internazionale” service, but the item has (including all packaging) dimensions of 15 cm x 8cm x 8cm and weighs 150 g. It could be a couple of cm shorter in height without the packaging (which, since it’s cardboard, I could flatten and put into a padded envelope), but I can’t figure out from the postal website whether I can ship an item of that size or not. Has anyone had similar experiences and can give me some advice? From other posts I understood that the shipment is tracked up to the border: in that case, it’s the seller’s problem, since they don’t want to reimburse my shipping costs if they’re too high.
