Refund for an item not yet arrived

Hi everyone! I bought an item that hasn’t arrived yet and is supposedly arriving tomorrow, but I’ve decided to return it. My return has been accepted, but now I assume I’ll have to send the item back to the seller myself. Can’t I refuse the package when it arrives so that it gets returned to the sender instead? Is this something I can do? Thanks everyone, best regards

Aside from the fact that it made no sense at all to open a return request for an item that hasn’t even arrived yet, if you refuse the package how can you prove that you shipped it back?

You’d be putting yourself in the wrong and you wouldn’t be able to claim any refund.

So, accept the package when it arrives, then you’ll send it back at your own expense, updating the request with your tracking number.
