Accepted returns and rejected returns?
Summary: The discussion concerns the topic of accepted and unaccepted returns, but the specific details are not provided in the main content or in the participants’ comments.
Good morning, I bought a used item only because the seller accepted returns, but just a little while ago, as soon as it was delivered to me, I contacted him on eBay to let him know that some parts were probably missing and that I was forced to consider returning it after consulting a technician. He replied that he couldn't accept it since it was clearly stated in his listing "seller does not accept returns". So I then sent him a screenshot of the listing, which instead stated the opposite, namely "returns accepted," but he immediately sent me his screenshot showing that it says he does not accept them. It's a really strange situation. Has anything like this ever happened to you?

Mentore1 year agoIt happens almost daily, but if the item is not as described the seller is forced to accept the return (at their own expense) and refund.
So open a return request, indicating in the reason: item not as described.

OP1 year agoIn the return procedure there isn't the option "item not as described" but the most appropriate among the available ones is "missing parts or pieces". In this case too, would the seller be forced to accept the return?
