Good evening, I sold my phone, but the buyer didn’t read the description and didn’t see the photos showing the display, but since he hadn’t seen the photos he didn’t know, so when the phone arrived what did he think to do but break it completely with a key or a screwdriver, saying that I had put it in the package. He requested a return through Ebay and I don’t know for what reason they agreed with him and gave him his money back, but he didn’t send the phone back to me. Is he supposed to do that? Thanks

Mentore3 years agoGood evening,
if he opened a return request for you and you didn't do anything to get your item back, this is the result.
You should have arranged pickup at your own expense and tried to minimize the damage, whatever he may have declared...
Kind regards.

OP3 years agoYou tell me, smartass, what I’m supposed to do. Ebay gave him his money back and he even kept the phone too. What, am I supposed to send a return label? Not a chance, I’ve got no time to waste.

OP3 years agoI guess you're the usual time-waster who has nothing to do and you answer like an idiot instead of solving the problem.

Mentore3 years agoRemember that no one has a magic wand to solve the problem you created for YOURSELF...
The solution to your problem does not exist... except for the preventive one I pointed out to you.
But by now the damage is done... the item has been returned to your possession, you can report the buyer for embezzlement...
Have a nice day.

OP3 years agoBut do you ever actually read? I wrote that he damaged the item when the package arrived. In fact, the box was intact, but inside the display was covered in holes made with a key or a screwdriver. He did not return my phone to me (even though it says so on Ebay), and I wrote to him dozens of times, but HE DOES NOT READ AND DOES NOT REPLY, so let’s sort out this ridiculous matter where he damages the item received, Ebay even sides with him, gives him his money back, and does not force him to return the goods to me. Thanks, good work.

Mentore3 years agoI read it carefully... and I hope YOU also read my first reply carefully about what you should have done...
Ebay’s decision is unfortunately irreversible, so ebay can’t solve anything for you.... just as none of us can solve your problem for you.
Kind regards.
