Reopening of refund request
Hello everyone, after receiving an item for my car, I discovered that it wasn’t compatible even though the description said it was. I opened a return request but the return shipping was automatically charged to the buyer. So I closed the request to open a new one, but evay won’t let me reopen it. Is there anyone who can help me? At the moment I’ve basically been scammed but I’m not sure how to go about it. Thanks

Mentore1 year agoI’d say you scammed yourself.
If the item didn’t match the description, all you had to do was specify that in the reason for the return and it would have been the recipient’s responsibility.
Then, when you tried to close the procedure, a message appeared warning you that if you confirmed the closure you wouldn’t be able to open any other procedures on ebay. And yet you confirmed the closure, instead of having ebay customer service contact you.
Now on ebay you’ve closed off every possibility, all you can do is try contacting the payment method you used (PayPal dispute or chargeback from the credit card).

OP1 year agoI opened the return request from the iPhone app and I swear I didn’t see “item does not match the description,” so much so that I entered “wrong size or fit.” I’ll try to proceed through Paypal. Thanks
